Banook CSR policy
Our Banook CSR policy
Our CSR policy is built on three pillars: Social Responsibility, Environmental Sustainability and Ethical Governance. These pillars represent our collective responsibility to reduce our environmental impact, contribute positively to society, and ensure ethical governance in all our operations and internal processes.
Social Responsibility: We uphold human rights, promote employee well-being and diversity, and actively support the communities where we operate.
Environmental Sustainability: We reduce our environmental impact through sustainable resource use, waste reduction, and stakeholder engagement in green practices.
Ethical Governance: We ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability through strong ethical standards, risk management, and active board oversight.

HIGHLIGHTS 2024

Our achievements in 2024
To celebrate Banook’s 25th anniversary, we launched a special initiative to give back to the communities we serve: 25 Acts for our 25 Years. Here are some of the meaningful actions carried out in 2024 as part of this campaign:
We partnered with an association in the Rives de Meurthe district of Banook Nancy that supports children with disabilities and those under child protection in the Greater Nancy area. As part of this initiative, we gifted 80 presents to children in need.
To promote sustainable commuting and incentivize soft mobility, we launched an initiative to fully reimburse employees for their public transport expenses and reduce our carbon footprint.
Banook partnered with the Amis d’Gens association to provide financial and material support, including ECG recorders, enabling the distribution of vital medical supplies and equipment to hospitals, schools, and an orphanage. This initiative also funded healthcare and education for children, supported preventive health actions, and contributed to infrastructure improvements, making a lasting impact on the local community.
OBJECTIVES 2025/2026
Our objectives for 2025/2026
Our ESG strategy foresees the following actions to ensure continuous improvement in our environmental, social, and governance practices:
Policy Implementation and updates: implement key ESG-related policies and update the Ethics Policy to strengthen transparency and integrity.
Carbon Footprint Management: maintain current carbon intensity levels (TCO2/1MEuro) through 2025–2026, despite business growth.
Employee Participation in ESG: engage 30–35% of employees in ESG activities and training over the next two years.
Employee Training: allocate 4.5 to 5 hours of non-ESG training per employee annually in 2025 and 2026.
