Continuing Our Journey Toward a More Sustainable Future

In 2024, our “25 Acts for our 25 Years” initiative allowed us to transform this commitment into concrete actions,

At Banook, we believe that sustainability and innovation go hand in hand. For more than 25 years, we have been committed to improving healthcare research and clinical trials while acting responsibly toward people and the planet.

As we move forward, these values continue to guide our strategy and shape the way we work every day.

This fall, we’re proud to share several key initiatives that reflect Banook’s ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental footprint, foster well-being at work, and support meaningful causes within our communities.

🚲 Promoting Soft Mobility and Healthier Commuting

Reducing emissions begins with small, everyday changes.

To encourage eco-friendly commuting, we’ve introduced a company bike at our Nantes office, available for employees to use for local travel or daily commutes.

This initiative promotes soft mobility — a greener, healthier, and more enjoyable alternative to driving — while reinforcing our ambition to make sustainability a shared, accessible experience for all team members. It’s a simple but tangible step toward lowering our carbon footprint and encouraging active lifestyles.

🌍 Measuring and Offsetting Our Environmental Impact

In 2024, Banook completed a comprehensive carbon audit, assessing our emissions across operations and activities. This audit was an important milestone in our journey toward accountability and continuous improvement.

By measuring our impact, we can take informed decisions about the future. We are now carefully reviewing carbon offset projects and reduction strategies that can help us align with international sustainability standards and contribute to the global fight against climate change.

From supporting renewable energy programs to biodiversity conservation, we are exploring ways to ensure Banook’s growth remains responsible and resilient.

📑 Strengthening Our CSR Policy and Long-Term Vision

A strong vision needs a strong framework. That’s why Banook has formalized its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, designed to guide our sustainability actions and ensure consistent progress over time.

Our CSR approach rests on four main pillars:

  1. Environmental Responsibility – reducing our footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

  2. Employee Well-being – fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace.

  3. Ethics and Transparency – upholding integrity and accountability in everything we do.

  4. Community Engagement – giving back and creating value beyond business.

This policy is not a static document; it’s a roadmap that will evolve alongside our company, ensuring that sustainability remains a core part of Banook’s identity and strategy.

💛 Running for a Cause: Enfants sans Cancer

Sustainability is also about supporting people and communities. Later this year, Banook employees will proudly participate in the “Enfants sans cancer” race — an inspiring event that brings together thousands of runners and walkers to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, our teams share the same motivation: to make a difference where it truly matters. This initiative embodies our spirit of solidarity, compassion, and collective action — values that are deeply rooted in our company culture.

🌱 Looking Ahead: From Commitments to Lasting Impact

As Banook continues to grow globally, we remain guided by the belief that sustainable business is responsible business. Our ambition is not only to limit our impact but to create positive change — for our employees, our partners, and future generations.

Each initiative, from a bike in Nantes to a global carbon strategy, contributes to a greater purpose: building a healthier, fairer, and more sustainable world.

We look forward to sharing new milestones on this journey and continuing to turn our commitments into meaningful action.

Because at Banook, sustainability is more than a value — it’s part of who we are.
